This coming Memorial day weekend Emile and I are going to Milan. Unfortunately this is not a trip Porter will be going on with us. I have been unable to get his passport because the Vet on base is out of the passports.
I spent Friday and now today researching and calling different pet sitting services and kennels. We just cant put him in a kennel where he will be confined for a long period of time so having a pet sitter where he can live in their home is really the only option. I spoke to a very nice woman named Katrin who had space for Porter at her home this weekend. She wanted me to come and see her home today with Porter to make sure he is a good match. Here is why...
I didn't want to gawk too much and start taking picutres so I just got a few. There are 3 goats which Porter stayed a distance from but ran in circles around. Our little condo dweller is still a herding dog. There was a Pony that ends up inside sometimes with the little fox (below) and a large horse. I think the goats can go in too but Im not sure.
I could not resist asking her to take a picture of me and this baby fox.

Spring!
Spring has finally arrived in Wiesbaden. We did get spoiled when we first arrived here in early March. It was regularly sunny and warm. The past two to three weeks have been a challenge and poor Porter has been staying inside way too much.
Hanging out in the park is a popular activity on a sunny day, to the extent it can be difficult to get a spot.
Porter showed off his talents as usual wowing the crowds.
And then he was done...
Wiesbaden is beautiful.

Frohe Ostern
Happy Easter or Frohe Ostern as the Germans say. Porter and Emile got one big Easter basket. The basket part is virtual. We went to breakfast this morning at the hotel. It was the normal awesome brunch. I will miss that. I guess they will have an Easter Lunch the rest of the day.
When we got back to the room, the housekeeping staff had left us gifts on our pillows. Very sweet I thought, but a good thing Porter did not decide to tear into them. Nothing is open today and finding a Vet would not be easy
Today was another beautiful day at the park. Porter was spectacular as usual and caught some good Frisbee throws.
Yesterday we went to Delkenheim to visit Josh, Ashley, Cooper and Stanley. It was Porter's first bus ride. I really need to step up my blogging game and take more pictures. All I got was one of Porter waiting for the bus.
Till next time...Prost!

Porter likes Herber-Anlagen Park.
This park is across the street from The Dorint Hotel. We spend time here twice a day. He has become quite the celebridog getting his photo taken on a regular basis. His talents are quite spectacular.
